January: Martinique

The nickname given to the island by its indigenous people was the “island of flowers”. Thanks to its lush tropical vegetation, Martinique is an ideal destination for the travellers who would like to combine a cruise along the wonderful beaches with trips to the hinterland. There is a lot to discover here – the famous botanical gardens, hills and mountains covered with a rainforest, the volcano of Mount Pelée, waterfalls, banana and sugar cane plantations ... Our experienced captains will be happy to advise you on which beach you will be almost by yourself, or where you can go kitting, which of the surrounding islands are worth visiting (Mustique, Bequia, Union Island or perhaps Saint Lucia) and where are the best places for diving and snorkeling. After the days filled with activities, you can fuel up in the restaurants located in small fishing villages. In the evenings, you can be entertained in one of the local renowned rum distilleries.

If you want to save money, we recommend you to take off for Martinique as soon as in January! It is the time when the prices for air tickets and yacht chartering services are the lowest on this island, which makes a part of the Caribbean Lesser Antilles archipelago and lies between the islands of St. Lucia and Dominica. And we have a 20% discount for you to save even more! If you opt for renting the Lagoon 450 catamaran in the period from 18 to 25 January 2020, you will pay only € 4,984 per week (plus € 320 for the transit log and € 1,480 for the captain services) instead of € 6,230. The air tickets for flights (departing from Prague) will cost you about CZK 20 thousand per person. For details about Lagoon 450 go to our website!

May to June: Thailand

If you take off for Phuket, the largest Thai island, on a boat, you will not only avoid the crowds of tourists, but you will also be able to visit the other beautiful places - for example the Bay of Phang Nga and the Phi Phi islands. Phuket attracts travellers with, among other things, its beautiful sandy beaches that can be found on the west coast, but also with the islands in its vicinity. Thailand is a popular destination also for divers. One of the most famous diving locations of the world, the Similan Islands, is located 84 kilometres to the north-west from Phuket. You can see for example leopard sharks under the water surface, as well as moray eels, mantas, turtles and seahorses.

We also recommend to all those who will decide to navigate around Phuket, to also make a trip to the Phang Nga bay. On the area of about 400 square meters, hundreds of rock formations and limestone islets extend for shallow waters. Some of them are as much as 350 meters high!  Other beautiful secluded places, including romantic bays with romantic sandy beaches, can be enjoyed on the Phi Phi archipelago, which is situated about two hours of a navigation from Phuket.

Seychelles rank among the most beautiful sites you can get to know when travelling. In addition, if you have your own yacht at your disposal, you will be able to explore this charming archipelago really thoroughly. You can drop anchor in the bay of Anse Volbert on Praslin Island, and enjoy a few hours on the most popular and longest beach of the island. Or you can go for a trip to the Vallé de Mai valley, where the remaining part of the Coco de Mer virgin forest of coconut palms still grows. Their famous fruit resembles human bottoms. In the national park on Curieuse Island, you can observe wild giant tortoises! Those who love snorkeling and diving will find their paradise in the marine reserve near Ile Cocos Island, and the most beautiful of the Seychelles, La Digue Island, is definitely worth a visit.
